JAKARTA (JP): A Special Team for Anti Corruption Crime (Tipikor) was officially dissolved Monday after being established two years ago.
Elshinta radio station reported that the special team was established by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to accelerate the government efforts to eradicate rampant corruption in the country.
Indonesia also has the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), a state body formed in 2003 based on the 2002 Anti Corruption Law to fight against corruption.
